Cardboard Handler (PA, Mainland)

Basic Job Functions:

Under direct supervision, maintains cleanliness, orderliness and safety of the facility and properly disposes of waste. Observes Standard Operating Procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices in the performance of work.

Essential Functions of the Job:

  • Maintain area and equipment in Recycling Room in a neat and orderly manner.
  • Bale cardboard by placing in baler, operating that equipment and then placing completed unit onto pallet.
  • Dispose of trash gathered from the facility. Empty trash bins into compactor and operate compactor in a safe manner.
  • Clean trash bins as required.
  • Assist in furniture moving as required.
  • Maintain outside of facility for cleanliness. Sweep driveways and walkways. Rake wooded and grassy areas to keep them free of trash or refuse.
  • Collect recyclables from office and dispose of properly.
  • Assist in equipment movements as needed.
  • Ensure the facility entrance/exit areas are clear and safe in inclement weather. Shovel snow and salt walkways as needed.

QS Associate - Electronic Batch Records (PA, Mainland)

Basic Job Functions:

This position will be a member of the implementation team of the Master Control Electronic Batch Record (EBR) system. This includes the configuration, customization and integrity of data entered into the EBR system.. Additionally, this position is responsible for troubleshooting and elevating issues to ensure problem resolution are elevated to Accupac Management.

This position will collaborate with internal Subject Matter Experts (e.g. Analytical, Manufacturing, Packaging and Quality and IT personnel). Additionally, this role will work with vendor based consultants to ensure continued operation of the EBRs system. This role requires strong computer skills as well as problem solving skills.

Essential Functions of the Job:

  • Work with Manufacturing, Packaging and Quality to implement transfer of master batch records into the EBRs system.
  • Transfer data from hard copy to digital format.
  • Document and assist users in defining business requirements, process maps and use cases.
  • Maintain tracker of progress of configuration work.
  • Investigate feature requests, clarify user requirements and objectives, understand software functionality and recommend appropriate solutions to meet implementation timelines.
  • Verify data integrity and functional integrity testing.
  • Proactively raise technology related risks, issues, and opportunities.
  • Support the organization in maintaining a work environment focused on quality, fosters learning, respect, open communication, collaboration, integration, and teamwork.

Packaging Line Leader (PA, Mainland)

 

Available Schedule:

1st Shift, Sun-Thu or Tue-Sat 6:45 AM-3PM

3rd Shift, Sun-Thu or Tue-Sat 10:45PM-7AM

Pay Rate

$16/hr for 1st shift

$18/hr for 3rd shift

 

Basic Job Functions:

Responsible for the safe and successful operation of assigned production lines in compliance with quality standards, Good Manufacturing Practices, company SOPs and corporate policy while maintaining established production quotas.

 

Essential Functions of the Job:

  • Team Leader level and compensation will be determined by successful completion and verification of levels in the Team Leader Skill Level Chart.
  • Report to work at least 45 minutes prior to the start of the scheduled shift.
  • Follow line check-in procedures as specified in SOPs # QA0012 and PK0008.
  • Verify that the correct batch code is being printed on product by checking product drums or tanks supplying the line.
  • Verify that the package being produced is accurate according to customer specifications.
  • Assist the Packaging Supervisor in packaging line audits as needed.
  • Ensure that waste is kept within acceptable limits, offering suggestions for waste reduction, when possible.
  • Ensure that all assigned Line Workers and Material Handlers are working efficiently and safely.
  • Ensure that materials are being handled in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices, SOPs and current company policies.
  • Operate production lines so to achieve or exceed production standards for the output per man-hour and per line-hour.
  • Adjust machinery as necessary within parameters of training/ability.
  • Complete and affix Finished Goods tickets to pallets.
  • Complete and submit all required production documentation in compliance with cGMP and verify accuracy of all information.
  • Apprise Packaging Supervisor of relevant information regarding employee performance, machinery, safety and quality
  • Monitor the state of other packaging lines as needed.
  • Interact with customers who are in attendance for line tests and new product start-ups.

Box Truck Driver (PA, Souderton)

Shift Available: 3rd shift, Monday-Friday, 11:00PM-7:00AM

Basic Job Functions:

Responsible to perform the following duties:

  • Perform pre-trip DOT inspection at the start of every shift.
  • Follow all applicable traffic laws.
  • Keep a log of work activities.
  • Keep box truck clean and in good working order.
  • Transport materials between warehouses.
  • Maintain truck inspection sheet.
  • Maintain and report fuel usage.

  • Movement of components, transfers, raw materials, and finished goods to the proper buildings in accordance with production/manufacturing requirements.

Shipping Clerk (PA, Souderton)

Basic Job Functions:

Responsible for shipping activities as assigned by the Shipping Coordinator

Essential Functions of the Job:

  • Create shipments as Pjobs get released, selecting tickets to meet current customer’s requirements.
  • Enter shipments into Accuterm.
  • Enter shipments into customer’s data bases when applicable, including publishing shipments.
  • Print all Accupac and customer shipping paperwork.
  • Reconcile the previous day’s shipments, confirming tickets have been consumed and sending shipping paperwork to the approriate contacts.
  • Keep accurate files of both Accupac bill of ladings and all other shipping papers.
  • Keep accurate records of Chep pallets being shipped and enter information into applicable data bases, and/or spreadsheets.
  • Work with the Procurement group and vendors on all returns.

Compounder (NJ, Lakewood)

Basic Job Functions:

The Compounder is responsible for manufacturing a customer?s product by following a set of written instructions. This activity involves the interpretation and execution of written instructions that results in a bulk product that conforms to the customer?s specifications. The Manufacturing operation is performed in a manner that complies with Accupac?s SOP and the FDA?s Good Manufacturing Practices Regulations.

Essential Functions of the Job:

  • Compounder level and compensation will be determined by successful completion and verification of levels in the Compounder Skill Level Chart.

  • Clean and sanitize manufacturing related equipment and utensils.

  • Set-up manufacturing equipment to support a specific manufacturing operation.

  • Scan all labor activities into the central computer system.

  • Document all relative activities associated to the batch in respective equipment logbooks.

  • Verify that the manufacturing equipment is suitable for its intended use and that it has been cleaned & sanitized.

  • Verify that the information on the raw material Barcode Tickets and the manufacturing batch card are in agreement and have not expired.

  • Advise direct supervisor of any raw material information nonconformance and set the material aside for final disposition.

  • Follow the customer?s written instructions.Advise the immediate supervisor of all process deviations.

  • Advise the Quality Assurance Group when they can sample the completed bulk product.

  • Prepare bulk storage tanks for new product receipts.Participate in the unloading process of the receipt.

Basic Job Functions:

Responsible for weighing raw materials to specific amounts that conform to the customer?s formula in a manner that complies with Accupac?s Standard Operating Procedures and the FDA?s Good Manufacturing Practice regulations.

Essential Functions of the Job:

  • Read, comprehend and interpret written instructions in order to obtain raw materials in quantities that conform to customer specifications.

  • Requisition raw materials to be weighed from the warehouse.

  • Make standard computations as required in customer specifications

  • Verify accuracy of raw material information and corresponding documentation

  • Communicate any variances, deviations or nonconformance issues to appropriate personnel

Mechanic - Packaging (NJ, Lakewood)

Basic Job Functions:

Performs mechanical set ups and maintenance tasks on assigned production lines to ensure its smooth operation. Is knowledgeable on each individual component of a production line and the correct set up for interaction and connection between them for maximum efficiency. Performs preventative maintenance and participates in training programs, as required.

Metrologist (NJ, Lakewood)

Basic Job Functions:

Responsible to perform the activities necessary to operate and maintain chemical analysis in the Quality Control Analytical Lab. Responsible to carry out technical tasks and support production operations; perform routine and non-routine chemical testing of raw materials, bulk products, finished goods, environmental samples, validation samples and stability samples; and evaluate and implement new chemical analysis procedures. Execute development, qualification, verification, validation and transfer of analytical testing methods. Write technical documents such as Test Methods, SOP?s, Protocols and reports. Responsible to trouble-shoot, calibrate, service and maintain equipment for our fast paced Quality Control laboratory.

Essential Functions of the Job:

  1. Resolve problems with instruments, test methods, lab chemicals, standards, and samples independently and then present findings to Management.
  2. Assure calibrations, standards, log books and other GMP compliance activities are performed in the laboratory.
  3. Write and execute method validations, protocols and reports.
  4. Coordinate validation projects and ensure all validation documentations are finalized and current.
  5. Must be able to understand the purpose and objective of the method transfers and protocols.
  6. Review and evaluate new and revised customer test methods.
  7. Maintain all notebooks, assay reports, log books and other documentation in accordance with cGMP.
  8. Perform testing to evaluate new or non-routine chemical test procedures, or to evaluate/validate equipment.

  13. Perform presentations in-house and to customers of projects from commencement to completion.
  14. Plans own work to achieve assigned technical goals, develop methods and is responsible for the relevance of work and the integrity of results.
  15. Leads projects involving collaboration with business unit, production, regulatory affairs, and customers.
  16. Responsible for training QC Chemist on new test procedures, sample preparation and new laboratory equipment.
  17. Performs calibration, troubleshooting, PM, IO/OQ/PQ, and resolution of instrument issues for laboratory equipment in the Analytical Lab.

Is formally trained in identifying key quality requirements on product which includes cosmetic and aesthetic defects. Also able to perform quality inline inspections such as label placement and code presence. Able to assist in the purgation and cleaning of the machinery at the end of a packaging campaign. Able to perform material handling requirements and ensure that the cleanliness of the line is in control.

Responsible to perform the physical unloading, loading, transfer, storage, shipping, physical handling and movement of all materials throughout Accupacs warehouse facilities.

 

Essential Functions of the Job:

  1. Warehouse Staff level and compensation will be determined by successful completion and verification of levels in the Warehouse Skill Level Chart.

  2. Load and unload trucks/trailers

  3. Prepare materials for proper identification, sampling and warehouse storage.

  4. Bar Code ticketing of all materials as per established procedures.

  5. Verify and sign delivering carriers Bills of Lading.

  6. Locate and transfer materials between the warehouse, manufacturing and production areas.

  7. Verify, count and inventory materials.

  8. Accurately report material locations through the effective use of the Bar Code Inventory System. Includes efficient use of Intermec PC unit.

  9. Proper daily maintenance and care of all warehouse materials handling equipment.

  10. Maintain constant good housekeeping and cleanliness in accordance with all cGMP and FDA regulations.Adhere to all Department and Company SOPs.
