Accupac Welcomes Myrna Thomas!

Myrna Thomas has joined Accupac as our Vice President of Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs. Prior to joining Accupac, Myrna held senior management positions at Merck as Managing Director of Worldwide Clinical Data Management and Director/VP, Global Quality Operations at Isolagen. Myrnaís career includes significant contract testing and manufacturing experience as VP, Quality and Regulatory Compliance at AppTec Laboratory Services. †She also held management positions in Quality and Analytical Development at Wyeth and Aventis Behring.

Over the past 21 years Myrna has gained broad US and European experience in Quality Assurance, analytical development, regulatory compliance, validation and corporate auditing for both clinical and commercial products.

Myrna is an outstanding leader with proven management skills. In all of her positions Myrna has created and sustained a strong customer focus while ensuring a culture of quality and compliance. We welcome Myrna to the Accupac team!

Accupac Launches Innovative Customer Service Model

Accupac redefines its already outstanding customer service for the world’s largest pharmaceutical and consumer products companies. This leader in liquid contract manufacturing had always dedicated a project manager to each client to serve as an on-call advocate. How does it get better? Now, Accupac is creating customized teams for each client.

“Our clients have always appreciated having one point of contact for all their needs,” said Mark Hinkel, Director of Marketing and Sales. “We are taking our customer service to an even higher level by having an entire dedicated team at their disposal.”

The customized team drives, launches and manages projects from start to finish with the client and internally at Accupac. As the client’s account needs change, Accupac adds the needed resources. Each team member is an expert in their own area of specialization, such as engineering or sales.

To execute this new phase in their rewarding business partnerships, Accupac has added qualified experts to the company over the last several months.

Andrew Zelez has come aboard as Regional Director of Sales. He brings Accupac 30 years of direct industry experience, most recently with Catalent Pharma Solutions. Zelez handles materials management/procurement; planning and scheduling; operations management; project management and sales and business development.

Other new team members include:

Tina Kim joins Accupac as a Manufacturing Manager. She is responsible for all chemweigh and manufacturing operations, with the manufacturing supervisors reporting to her. Kim is crosstraining in technical transfer operations as well as customer service.

Jennifer Colaiacomo is the newest Account General Manager in the sales department. Colaiacomo has held various sales and marketing roles prior to joining the Accupac team.

Matt Piserchio, Ph.D. joins Accupac as a Quality Control and Analytical Lab Manager He is an analytical chemist with over 20 years of industrial experience in both pharmaceuticals and manufacturing.
