Accupac's Corporate Timeline
1974
Accupac, a family-run packaging company serving the cosmetic and pharmaceutical industry, begins operation in a 3,500 square-foot facility in Jeffersonville, PA.
1980
Accupac quickly outgrows original space and moves to our current location in Mainland, PA. The new space accommodates larger and better-equipped laboratories. A new manufacturing department is established.
The 80s
Services expand to include the manufacturing of the products we package, including creams, lotions and toothpastes. A barcode inventory system is implemented and the chemistry and microbiological laboratories are fully outfitted.
The 90s
Accupac enters the prescription drug arena. Manufacturing and packaging equipment and capabilities are expanded to include high-speed packaging lines, large mixers and cutting-edge technologies.
2003
H.I.G. Capital acquires Accupac and continues the commitment to growth and superior customer service.
2000's
Significant investments are made to our physical plant, systems, equipment, automation and personnel. Improvements include but are not limited to: an advanced scheduling and MRP system; a new manufacturing area with large capacity tanks; packaging operations upgraded to cGMP standards; additional 100,000 square feet of warehouse added; new state-of-the-art pre-weigh/chemical weigh suites.
